Pediatric Advanced Life Assistance or PALS is awarded to professionals who are interested to impart their value added service to infants and children in situations that threatens their life. The PALS training is very special and a modern course that focuses on a special acumen to allow professionals to intervene and allow medical treatment so that lives are saved. Recertification program is also conducted for people who were trained earlier and would like to freshen up their knowledge with modern inclusions. AHA or American Heart Institute also supports this and it lists various centers that offer authentic PALS courses.
Does PALS have an advantage? The program has 14 hours of training after which an exam has to be attended by all candidates. Students who already have a PALS accreditation can also update their skills with the recertification program.
